Connect by ValueLink offers a dedicated mobile app that enables appraisers to manage their orders efficiently while on the go. This article outlines the available methods for logging into the ValueLink Connect mobile application, allowing users to choose the option that best fits their device capabilities and preferences.
Login Methods:
Login using email and password
Login using QR code
Login using Face ID (iOS devices)
Login using Fingerprint / Biometric authentication (Android devices)
Note: Before getting started, please ensure that Connect by ValueLink is downloaded from the App Store or Google Play Store on your mobile device. For a step-by-step guide on downloading the Connect mobile app, refer to: Download the Connect Mobile App – ValueLink Connect
To log in to the ValueLink Connect application on your mobile device, follow the instructions below based on your preferred login method.
Method 1: Log In Using Email and Password
This is the standard login method and is available to all users.
Steps:
Open the Connect mobile app and click "Continue with User Login."
Enter your user login and password and click "Sign in."
If the credentials are valid, you will be taken directly to the mobile dashboard where you can start working on your orders.
In case you forget your password at the time of logging in, click "Forgot Password?"
Here, click on "I Forgot My User Login" option, add your email address, and click "Reset Password."
You will be shown a list of users associated with the email. Click on your user and proceed to "Reset Password."
Reset your password and sign in to the app again.
Once you're successfully logged in, you can start working on your orders on your mobile.
Method 2: Log In Using QR Code (From Web to Mobile)
This method allows users who are already logged into the web application to sign in to the mobile app without entering credentials.
Note: This method requires an active web session.
Steps:
Sign in to the Connect web application.
Open the profile menu from the top right and select Scan QR to Link Device.
This will display a QR code on the web screen, along with instructions.
Now, open the Connect mobile app and select Continue with QR Code.
Scan the QR code displayed on the web by pointing the camera at the QR Code.
Once scanned and verified, you will be automatically logged into your account on the mobile app.
Method 3: Log In Using Face ID (iOS)
Face ID allows faster access to the mobile app by using biometric authentication on supported iOS devices, without re-entering credentials.
Log in to the Connect mobile app and click "Continue with Face ID."
This will prompt you to enable Face ID for future logins. Click on "Enable Face ID."
Once enabled, Face ID can be used for all future logins unless disabled in device or app settings.
For this session, you can log in using your credentials to authenticate your account.
On subsequent log-ins, you can sign in using Face ID directly.
Simply click on "Continue with Face ID."
After a successful scan, you will be logged into the Connect Mobile App.
Notes:
- Face ID is only available on iOS devices that support biometric authentication.
- Authentication is tied to your existing account credentials and follows the same security standards as web login.
- You can disable Face ID at any time from your device settings.
Method 4: Log in using Fingerprint (Android)
Fingerprint authentication allows faster access to the Connect mobile app on Android without re-entering credentials, using biometric verification on supported Android devices.
Open the Connect mobile app to sign in, and click on "Continue with Biometric."
The first time, you will be prompted to enable fingerprint authentication for future logins. Click "Enable Biometric."
You can set up your fingerprint at this stage.
Once enabled, your fingerprint can be used for all future logins unless disabled from device or app settings.
For this session, you can log in using your credentials to authenticate your account. Click Continue with User Login.
Enter your credentials and click Sign In to verify your credentials.
On subsequent logins, you can simply sign in using your fingerprint instead of entering credentials.

Fingerprint authentication is available only on Android devices that support biometric fingerprint sensors.
Authentication is linked to your existing account credentials and follows the same security standards as web login.
Fingerprint authentication can be disabled at any time from your device or app settings.
