Update Order Status

Keeping the order status up to date ensures that clients have accurate visibility into progress. Regular status updates help avoid confusion and keep the workflow moving smoothly.

You can update an order status in multiple ways:

  1. From the Order Listing
  2. From the Order Page

1. Update Order Status from the Order Listing

To update an order status directly from the order listing, click on Orders in the side menu to navigate to the order listing page.

From here, navigate to the relevant order.

Click on the three dots "..." for that order to open the quick action menu and select "Update Status."

This will open up the list of statuses. Some commonly used statuses are visible at the top. Select the right status to update on the order.

The updated status will be reflected immediately on the order.

 

2. Update Order Status from the Order Page

To update the order status from the order page, open the relevant order.

Click on the order status from the header to view the complete list of statuses and select the appropriate status based on progress to update on the order.

Once selected, the order will be updated with the selected status.

Alternatively, to update the status, you can also use the actions menu. Simply click on the Actions button from the top right of the order page.

From the drop-down, click Update Status.

This will open the same drop-down as above, from where you can select the correct status to update the order.
