The Order Management Page

The Order Management page gives you everything related to an order in one place. The page is organised into a persistent header that keeps your most critical order information and quick actions always visible, a horizontal tab navigation to move between sections in a single click, and a Messages button accessible from anywhere on the page.

Each tab covers a specific aspect of the order- from core order details, products, and contacts, to reports, supporting documents, maps, photos, and messages. This guide walks through each section so you know exactly where to find what you need.

From the left navigation menu, click Orders, then open any order.

Order Header

The header sits at the very top of every order page and stays visible regardless of which tab you are on.

The header includes:

  • Order number: large and bold at the top left, so you always know which order you are on
  • Flag icon: displayed next to the order number. Click on the icon to flag an order as important
  • Status badge: shown as a coloured tag next to the flag icon. Click on the badge to update the order status from right there
  • Property address:  displayed prominently below the order number with two quick-action icons:
    • Copy icon: copies the full property address to your clipboard in one click
    • Map pin icon: opens the address directly in Google Maps, so you can get directions without typing anything
  • Due date: shown in red beside the property address
  • Print: generates a printer-friendly version of the complete order details, engagement instructions, and messages
  • Upload Report: a direct shortcut to upload your completed report
  • Actions: a single dropdown menu containing core workflow actions like updating the order status, setting the inspection date, requesting a due date update, uploading the report, viewing order history, and more

Order Timeline

Directly below the header, a horizontal order timeline gives you an at-a-glance picture of where the order stands.

The timeline stages include:

  • Order Created: date and time the order was created
  • Vendor Accepted: date and time the assigned vendor accepted the order
  • Inspection: the scheduled and completed inspection date and time
  • In Review: when the submitted report is under review
  • Completed: when the report is accepted, and the order is marked as complete

Completed stages show a green checkmark. The current active stage is highlighted with a blue-filled circle. Upcoming stages show as empty circles with N/A until reached.

Tab Navigation

All sections are organised into clearly labelled tabs across the top of the page. Click any tab to jump directly to that section. The tab bar stays visible at all times, so navigating between sections is a single click from anywhere on the order.

Sections include:

  • Order Details: Client info, borrower, lender, loan details, UAD format, legal description, access instructions
  • Product Details: Products on the order, fees, and UAD report requirement
  • Contacts: Borrower, Agent, Lender, and other contacts
  • Assign To: Assigned appraiser and any other assignees on the order
  • Reports: Submitted order report files
  • Supporting Docs: Engagement letters and other attached documents
  • Map: Subject property map and visibility into nearby order properties
  • Photos: Any photos added to the order
  • Messages: Communication thread for the order

Order Details

The Order Details section displays all core order information in a clean, easy-to-read grid layout. It includes the client name and order number with direct links to the client profile and order URL, lender information, UAD format, loan information, property type, and other relevant order information.

An Attached Documents button in the top-right corner of the section gives you instant one-click access to any files linked to the order. Clicking Attached Documents opens a dropdown listing all files linked to the order. You can open individual files or click Download all attachments to download everything at once.

Product Details

The Product Details section shows the product and fee on the order, alongside any additional details like UAD report requirement - all in one focused view.

For internally created orders: To make changes to the products and fees for internally created orders, click Update to open the editing drawer. Please note this is based on user role permission as set by the company admin.

Contacts

The Contacts section displays all contacts in a single streamlined table- name, role, email, and all available phone numbers (Work, Cell, Home) visible at once, so you can find and use a contact's details easily. A Primary badge makes it immediately clear who the main contact is for the order.

For users with permissions, use the Add button on the top right of the section to open the editing drawer. In the drawer, you can update the info for the contacts or add a new contact.

Assignees

The Assign To section shows key information - name, role, email, phone, and fee - of the assignees.

Use the Add button on the top right of the section to open the editing drawer. From here, you can add more assignees, like inspectors and reviewers, to the order as well.

Reports

The Reports section stores the submitted report file along with the uploaded date and time.

To upload a report, click on the Add button on the top right of the section.

An Upload Report button also sits permanently in the page header- visible on every tab- so you can upload your report the moment you land on the order without navigating to the report section separately.

Supporting Docs

The Supporting Docs section lists all attached documents, including engagement instructions and any other supporting documents, in a clean, scannable view with file name, document type, and upload date/time visible at a glance. Simply click on the document file to view/download it.

To add a supporting document, click the Add option.

In the drawer, drag and drop your file into the upload area or click Upload Files to browse.

Maps

The Map section shows the subject property and nearby orders in a split view- the map on the left with pinned order locations, and a scrollable list of nearby orders on the right. Use the Map / Satellite toggle to switch map view, and adjust the search radius using the miles dropdown (5 to 200 miles).

Each nearby order shows:

  • Order number (click to open the order)
  • Status badge
  • Property address and distance from the subject property
  • Inspection date and due date

Photos

The Photos tab is the dedicated space for photos. To add or update photos, use the upload option, which handles uploading, categorising, and sharing of photos in one place.

Messages

The Messages panel keeps all order communication in one place- system updates, client messages, and internal notes together in a single, easy-to-follow thread.

A floating Messages button at the bottom-right of the screen is accessible at all times, regardless of which section you are on, so you can open the message thread instantly without scrolling or losing your place on the page. The Messages tab also shows an orange indicator when there are unread messages, and the floating button displays an unread count for easy visibility.

To send a message, click the floating button or the Messages tab, type in the compose area at the bottom of the panel, and hit send. You can use the flag icon to mark a message as important, or the comment icon to select from saved common responses. Use the Search bar at the top of the panel to find a specific message, or the filter icon to narrow the thread.

This way, the Order Management page is designed to keep everything you need within reach- whether you are checking order details, uploading a report, coordinating with contacts, or tracking inspection progress. Each tab focuses on a specific part of the order, so nothing gets buried, and the persistent header and floating Messages button mean your most common actions are never more than a click away, regardless of where you are on the page.
