Where to Find Quote Requests

You can view and respond to quote requests from the Dashboard or the Quote Requests section in the left navigation.

Dashboard
When a new quote request comes in, it appears on your Dashboard in the Quote tab of the New Orders panel. Each card shows the property address, due date, product, fee, and order number.

Click View Details on the card to open the full quote request detail page.

Quote Requests List
Navigate to Quote Requests in the left sidebar to see all quote requests — including past and declined ones. The list shows:

  • Order Information — order number and property address
  • Client — the client who sent the request
  • Dates — Requested date and Closing date (the deadline by which you must respond)
  • Product — the product type being quoted
  • Vendor — the vendor the request is assigned to
  • Quote Response — your submitted Turn Time and Fee, if already responded to
  • Status — current status (e.g. Awaiting Response)
  • Actions — View Details or Delete

You can filter by Keyword, Client Name, Requested Date, Closing Date, and Quote Status.

Viewing a Quote Request

Click the order number or the View Details icon in the Actions column to open the full quote request detail page. The page consists of the following sections:

  • Order Details — full details of the property and loan information
  • Product Details — the product being quoted
  • Supporting Docs — any files attached by the client
  • Map — property location
  • Engagement Instructions — any specific instructions from the client
  • Messages — general order messaging
  • Quote Response — shows the current response status along with your submitted quote details once responded.
  • Quote Messages — displays the Quote Message from the client outlining what they are looking for

Two action buttons are available at the top right: Decline and Submit Quote.

How to Submit a Quote

Step 1: Open the Submit Quote modal
From the quote request detail page, click the Submit Quote button in the top right of the order header.

Step 2: Review the order details
The Submit Quote modal displays the full order details for reference. Review the Quote Message for the client's specific instructions, and the Engagement Instructions tab for any additional requirements.

Step 3: Fill in your quote details
In the Quote Details section of the modal, enter the following:

  • Select Vendor — confirm or select the vendor submitting the quote (admins can select on behalf of a vendor)
  • Business Days to Complete — enter your proposed turnaround time in business days
  • Proposed Fee — enter your proposed fee in USD
  • Rush Delivery Offer — select Yes or No to indicate whether you can offer rush delivery. If you select Yes, two additional fields appear: Business Days to Complete (Rush Delivery) and Proposed Fee (Rush Delivery) — fill these in with your rush turnaround time and fee, including any surcharge
  • Quote Comment — optionally add any notes or context for the client alongside your quote

Step 4: Submit
Once you have reviewed the details, click Submit to send your quote response to the client.

How to Decline a Quote Request

Click the Decline button in the top right of the quote request detail page.

This opens the Decline Bid modal, which shows:

  • Select Vendor — a dropdown to confirm or select the vendor declining the request (admins can select on behalf of a vendor)
  • Reason — a text field to enter the reason for declining

Click Decline in the modal to confirm. The quote request status will update accordingly.

Note: If another appraiser responds to the quote request before you and that quote is accepted, you will receive an error message, and the quote will no longer be available for you.
